What a marvellous and decent location near the main sights of Santa Cruz! Based just off restaurants, shops, supermarket and the beach, and downtown, courtyard and complimentary coffee, water and baked goods.

We had a very enjoyable stay in a long time. The king room we stayed in was functional. The location of the hotel was convenient and relatively quiet - a 10-15 minute walking distance from a classic seaside amusement park.

Comfortable and relatively quiet location close to beach, and 5 minute walk from a classic seaside amusement park. Nicely decorated and brand-new room, a shower, hairdryers, and bath sheets in the room.

The hotel had a comfortable and relatively quiet location extremely close to Kuumbwa Jazz Center. Our rooms were nicely decorated and brand-new with the windows open, everything was really good.

The hotel is glamorous with a very modern interior and very friendly staff. There is a wide array of good food for breakfast. The property provided an excellent customer service during our weekend. Just keep in mind, there's parking onsite.

I recently stayed at the charming Pacific Blue Inn for a few nights and it was a delightful experience. The hotel has a beautiful and unique design, with lots of character and thoughtful design touches. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the cozy patio where I could bring take-out and relax. The staff was friendly and responsive, quickly addressing any needs or questions I had. The hotel is located in a quiet area and the absence of a manager was seamlessly filled by the skilled cook staff. Lastly, the collective kitchen and beautiful courtyard with gas fire pits were wonderful amenities that allowed for socializing with other travelers.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We spent three weeks touring around the USA. This was by far the best place we stayed. The little touches like the free bikes, the library. At first I did not know what the reviews I had read were saying it was so, but then as soon as you were there it just got better and better. I love the fact it is wheelchair friendly (I don't have a disability, but it is great to see hotels having reall rooms that cater for that need and don't look like something out of care setting). I loved the fact the bathroom products were of a quality that I didn't have to use my own. In every other hotel I used my own products as I was afraid they would give me an irritation. The most amazing thing was the breakfast. Anyone staying really has to have the breakfast, it is one of the best I have had any where in the world. It is simple, but delicious. Don't be put off by them asking what time you are going to have breakfast, as it is just to help them bake it fresh.
Santa Cruz is a grimmy kind of city, it is a little off beat, which I loved, if you want it to be Carmel it isn't going to be that type of town. I found great restaurants and bars and an amazing beach.

The bed was wonderful! And so was the breakfast.
Construction noise from the Warriors arena being built a block over. Also the shutters didn't block out as much light as I'd have liked. (Solution: earplugs and eye mask.)

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Pacific Blue Inn. The bed was comfortable and we slept like babies. The free Wi-Fi was very convenient. Additionally, we had delicious treats at the nearby Asti Cafe, which was so close to the hotel.

Very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful (they shared their thoughts on things we should see in the area and along the coast as tourists). And the breakfast was a complete treat - the popovers and the egg dish (Florentine Popover) were fantastic!

Loved our rooms with a fireplace. Its location just a short stroll away from Mcpherson Center was relatively quiet.
